Doctors Apppointment-Busy Day
Well today I woke myself up by snoring, I couldn’t believe how loud I was snoring and I heard myself, that’s not good, I need to find a way to stop that. Anyhow my appointment today with my obgyn was at 11am. Juan and I got there on time and didn’t have to wait very long. After I signed in, they gave me a cup to go pee in. They usually do this at every appointment. But they never seem to tell me any information on it, Must be because everything is ok. Then they took my blood pressure and I believe it said it was 108, I’m not sure exactly if that’s good or bad but the nurse didn’t seem worried about it. Next was to hop on the scale. I weighed 123.3, so I only gained about 3 pounds since my last visit. That’s ok though, hopefully I will be able to eat more soon.
After all that, the nurse took us back to the room, we waited for the doctor maybe 5 minutes, when she came in she asked how everything was going, I told her that I have been having alot of allergy problems and she said that’s normal and I can take some benadryl or claritin. Now it was time for me to lay back so she could listen to the baby’s heart beat with her little hand held machine. While we were listening, the baby moved, she said” wow you have been feeling alot of movement now haven’t you”. I said yes mostly at night. Then she told me I should still be taking it easy, no crazy activities or moving heavy objects and that I need to come back to see her in a week and a half to take a test that will determine if I will have premature labor or not. She didn’t seem to worried about it though.She also mentioned that around 30 weeks, I will have to take a diabetes test where I have to drink something nasty, I was just thinking in my head, “oh great, hope I don’t barf”.
Anyways after my appointment was over, I dropped Juan back off at work and then went to the WIC center to get my free food checks, we are so low on money and I really needed to get something because I eat so much, I cant even believe sometimes how much I eat. well I ended up getting there at around 12:30, it was so crowded, I had to wait over an hour just to get my checks, they said it was because I went during lunch time. And lunch time is always crowded. It was kinda like a daycare in there two, so many kids running all around. Its kinda cool to see all the different kids and how they act to things. And how the parents act towards their kids.
Well I just got home about a half hour ago after going to stater brothers to get some of my WIC food. All I got for now was the fruits and vegetables, one gallon of milk , one dozen eggs and some string cheese. Now I must try to rest for a bit before I go pick up Juan from work at 5.
