3rd time is the charm
So I was reading that this ultrasound place in Costa Mesa does ultrasounds to tell you the gender of the baby as early as 13 weeks. I called to make an appointment and was given June 11th at 12pm, one day after my husband’s birthday. I though that would be a great birthday surprise for him. So I scheduled it with out telling him. I could hear it already, its “Another Girl”, but this time I had seen something in between the legs, could it really be a boy?
As the tech asked me what I was hoping for, I said “well, I already have two girls but I wouldn’t mind another one”. He said, “well guess what? It’s a boy” and showed me my son’s privates.
I got a little emotional as tears of joy rolled down my cheeks, finally a little boy. I told all my friends the news. Trying not to tell my husband was hard. I knew how excited he will be. I was going to give him a birthday card with the ultrasound pictures in it. We were going to have dinner that night for his birthday with all his friends. It would have been a great gift but I am so bad at keeping things a secret so as soon as he got home, I showed him the pictures and shared the good news. I couldn’t wait until dinner.
