At the ER again
I’m so tired today. Last night around 11 O’ clock I told my boyfriend that all day I was having some suspicious leakage going on and it was sort of bothering me because I kept having to put on new underwear. Its a little disturbing. But he suggested I call the Labor and Delivery department to ask what that meant. Since when I looked it up online there was no real answer. Some said it was normal and some said it was not normal.
Well I ended up calling the ER department. They were not sure either and just said to come in to be sure. That’s what I didn’t want to do. My boyfriend was a little upset that I hadn’t called in earlier that day but I really didn’t want to be stuck in that place again over night or even worse for a few days. So it was now about 11:30pm and we left to the ER. When I got there of course I had to change clothes into one of those gowns, then they put the heart and contraction monitor on me. After about 30 minutes they said everything looked fine, I had no contractions. So the doctor just checked my cervix to see if I had dilated any further and she took a sample of the leaking fluid to test. She said I was still at one centimeter and that everything seemed normal. They said they would let me go home and call me if anything came back negative on the fluid samples. I was so happy I could go home. It didn’t take to long either. I was outta there by 1:30am. but by that time I was so tired.So on the way home we got me some Taco Bell. and I ate then fell asleep.
